Maintenance Supervisor Role Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's day-to-day activities. As a key team member, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe working environment while overseeing millwrights and third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and supervise maintenance activities to ensure equipment meets production needs.
  • Oversee maintenance crews and outside contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Assess employee skills and safety practices to identify training needs and maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Ensure adherence to plant rules, policies, and health & safety protocols during maintenance operations.
  • Manage urgent or breakdown repairs to minimize production downtime.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of mechanical repair and maintenance experience, preferably in a heavy industry setting.
  • Completed 433A industrial mechanic millwright license.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with or without formal authority.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
