Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver patient meals, snacks, and nourishments in a safe and timely manner.
  • Operate food service equipment, including ware washing machines and steamers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure their needs are met.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Public Health Food Handler's Certificate, mandatory.
  • Strong customer service background and prior work experience in institutional food service an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset.
