Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Advantage Child Care Academy Inc. The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Maintain daycare equipment
  • Support early childhood educators in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a childcare setting
  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
