Job Title: Research Ethics Coordinator

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Research Ethics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Research Ethics Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of research conducted at our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide education and support to research teams on ethics principles and guidelines
  • Coordinate and review research ethics submissions, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and guidance documents for the Research Ethics Office
  • Collaborate with the Research Ethics Board and research teams to ensure timely and accurate review of research ethics submissions
  • Provide administrative support to the Research Ethics Office, including maintaining electronic and paper files
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in bioethics, life sciences, or a health-related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a clinical research environment
  • Previous work experience within a research ethics office is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
