Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Procurement and Supplier Oversight team as an Expeditor/Material Order Tracking Specialist. This role will be responsible for expediting materials to meet production schedules, ensuring lead times are met with suppliers, and maintaining up-to-date order status in our ERP system.
Responsibilities:
- Expedite materials to meet production schedules
- Ensure lead times are met with suppliers on materials required for the production schedule
- Maintain up-to-date order status (in ERP system) for assigned orders
- Timely internal communication regarding potential material shortages that will impact production
- Proactively identify potential delays and take necessary actions to minimize their impact on production schedules
- Seek continuous improvement to our programs and procedures
- Support the resolution of defective or unacceptable goods/documentation with internal stakeholders, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of business office processes and practices acquired through a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including an understanding/knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills, with a high attention to detail, commitment to process improvement and ability to multi-task
- Proven time management and organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure with tight timelines, experience dealing with multiple conflicting priorities and the know-how to prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Proven problem-solving skills

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $68,000.00 and $96,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
