The Role

The Senior Water Resources Engineer will contribute to the Infrastructure Planning Group and collaborate closely with the Ontario Engineering team.

This role offers flexibility, with the option to work from either the Oakville or Ottawa office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting urban water, sanitary, and drainage system modeling, including data management, model setup and calibration, and system assessment;
  • Developing infrastructure servicing plans for subdivisions, neighborhoods, and city-wide areas;
  • Conducting hydrological and hydraulic modeling and developing Integrated Stormwater Management Plans and Flood Management Plans;
  • Creating rainwater source control LID concepts and assisting in LID designs;
  • Supporting Civil engineering design associated with municipal water, sanitary sewer, drainage conveyance works, and hydraulic structures;
  • Preparing construction cost estimates, implementation plans, and operation and maintenance manuals;
  • Writing and reviewing technical memorandums and reports.
