Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Montessori Educator to join our team. As a Montessori Educator, you will be responsible for creating a prepared environment that promotes independence, socialization, and academic growth in children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Implement Lesson Plans: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of children, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Prepare the Environment: Create a prepared environment that includes materials and activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Teach and Guide Children: Instruct children in various areas of the classroom, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture, promoting independence and socialization.
  • Establish Relationships: Build and maintain cooperative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Ensure the classroom is clean, safe, and healthy, adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities, staying up-to-date with best practices in Montessori education.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Montessori Certification: MACTE or AMI certification required.
  • Experience: Over one year of experience working with children in a Montessori environment.
  • Qualifications: Standard First Aid CPR C+, Vulnerable Sector Check, and up-to-date immunization records.
