Restaurant Operations Manager

Sushi Wara is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for analyzing budgets to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits. This includes developing budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies. You will also be responsible for modifying food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget. Additionally, you will monitor revenues to determine labor costs and plan and organize daily operations. Your duties will also include setting staff work schedules, determining the type of services to be offered, and implementing operational procedures. You will be responsible for balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms. You will also be responsible for costing products and services, enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participating in marketing plans and implementation.
