About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division at Paladin Security. As a Security Professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas of the facility
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and medical emergencies
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including walking and standing for extended periods
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate
  • A 7 on, 7 off rotation with alternating days and nights
  • Guaranteed base rate during on-call hours, with increased rate for called-out shifts
  • Mileage compensation for travel exceeding 50km one-way from base location
