Job Title: Director, Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Engineering to lead our Insurance Technology team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our software and engineering capabilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-functional engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and roadmaps to drive innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a software engineering or technology organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering results.
