As a professional in laboratory analyses and interpretation, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely results in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine/Immunology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the hospital's goal of delivering exceptional patient care by providing high-quality laboratory services.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, and external customers to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies to maintain professional standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory services.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program and CSMLS certification as a General MLT.
  • 30 hours of continuing education credits every year as per CMLTO.
  • Member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills.
