About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various facets of cyber security, including operations, risk management, and initiatives. They will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Enterprise Risk Management Function to conduct risk assessments aligned with NIST Frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new business solutions and third-party managed solutions.
- Tackle technical challenges, from implementing advanced privileged access management tools to navigating intricacies in data loss prevention.
- Stay ahead of evolving technologies, ensuring the seamless implementation and maintenance of cutting-edge security monitoring tools.
- Monitor the organization's network and systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies.
- Implement and maintain security monitoring tools and technologies.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Cyber Security or relevant program with at least 1-2 years of experience.
- Ability to quickly learn about organizational policies, processes, and work culture.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Passionate about learning and staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to perform risk assessments and control gap assessments.
- Knowledge of security policies and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
