Metso is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Western Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for guiding a team of sales experts in defining unique solutions to maximize our customers' comminution process.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of comminution and beneficiation processes and applications. You will work closely with our customers to develop a game plan enabling them to succeed on all fronts and become the reference in the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting and forecasting on the sales results and performance of the region.
- Coordinating customer satisfaction program (NPS) activities
- Analyzing results and defining proper win plan for strategic opportunities to meet targets
- Establishing sales objectives by analyzing markets and projecting orders/sales volumes
- Maintaining sales volume by tracking key performance indicators such as economic indicators
- Keeping up-to-date with developments, trends, and advancements related to sales and marketing
- Identifying strengths / weaknesses and teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques.
- Maintaining, nurturing and leveraging relationships with key decision makers of all accounts.
- Contributing to local strategy, market development, and sales competency development initiatives.
- Mentoring, training, and hiring site account managers as required
- Undertaking administrative tasks
- 5-10 years' experience in heavy industry sales preferably with mineral processing equipment and/or related products
- Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of comminution and beneficiation processes and applications.
- Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, problem-solving & troubleshooting skills required.
- Experience working in a customer-focused and service-oriented environment.
