Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MALIKA DISTRIBUTION INC. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for store staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Sell Merchandise: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate store staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll processing, including verifying hours worked and ensuring accurate payment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Screening Questions: Are you currently a student? Are you willing to relocate for this position? What is the highest level of study you have completed? Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 40 hours per week.
