Job Title: Member Solutions Specialist

Northern Credit Union Limited is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our members.

Job Summary:

The Member Solutions Specialist will act as the first point of contact for members who access Northern's services and products through our phone and digital communication channels. The successful candidate will market Northern's products and services within clearly defined policies and procedures, promoting, up-selling and cross-selling the complete range of lending and investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members through phone and digital communication channels
  • Market and promote Northern's products and services to members
  • Upsell and cross-sell lending and investment vehicles to members
  • Teach, support and direct members to use self-service delivery channels
  • Enhance the overall member experience by ensuring seamless and high-quality service at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and equivalent banking or sales experience
  • Knowledge of basic Credit Union products, services and systems an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and time to meet daily deadlines
  • Drive to work toward a standard of excellence, while reaching and exceeding goals as a self-starter and in support of their team
