Job Description

As a Senior Data Management Specialist, you will play a vital role within our Technology and Operations group. Your responsibilities will encompass managing relationships with third-party data providers, contract administration, and ensuring the accuracy of our data assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Contract Administration: Oversee market data contracts, engage with suppliers for renewal pricing, and ensure timely contract renewals.
  • User Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for service users, providing essential information about contracts, addressing product inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Renewal Submissions: Forward renewal details to senior team members for review and approval, analyze budget discrepancies to identify and rectify process inefficiencies.
  • Market Data System Management: Regularly update information within the market data management system to maintain accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with investment, product, and data engineering teams.
  • Product management or account management experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with data management systems is preferred. Excellent negotiation skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with data catalogs, data dictionaries, and data sample files. Exceptional teamwork and the capacity to identify valuable data sets within the investment process.
