Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at pt Health. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions to individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify diagnoses, level of distress, and functional impairment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use
  • Provide psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, to individuals and groups
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new mental health programs
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration with the provincial College/Board of Psychologists
  • Individual professional liability insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
