Your Role as Procurement Specialist

">

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team, responsible for optimizing supply chain operations. This key role involves analyzing data, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business insights and procurement opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • Expedite and track orders, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays
  • Analyze backorders and safety reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Follow up with vendors on unconfirmed purchase orders, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance
  • Issue and receive purchase orders, managing inventory levels and optimizing procurement processes
  • Process monthly leases, rebates, and deviations, maximizing cost savings and efficiency
  • Review dates on incoming orders, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Arrange vendor pickups, streamlining logistics and reducing costs
  • Resolve price discrepancies, ensuring fair pricing and competitive advantage
  • Manage reorder points and quantities, maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Administer transfer orders, ensuring seamless supply chain execution
  • Process overseas vendor orders, navigating global logistics and customs regulations
  • Docusign purchase order administration, implementing digital signatures and workflows
  • Receive issue management, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly
  • Vendor pricing/ETA confirmations, ensuring accurate quoting and scheduling

Educational Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

">

This role requires a University/College degree, preferably in a related field. Purchasing experience is an asset, and knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.

Key Skills and Abilities

">
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel. Power BI and SQL experience would be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated initiative in personal professional development, with a passion for learning and growth
  • Basic arithmetic skills, including gross profit calculation
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking and working with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Cross-functional influencing and conflict management skills, with a high level of ethics and personal integrity

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
