We are seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to collaborate with our global marketing, engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and other teams to identify, research, evaluate, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers to choose the best materials, products, or services to support our business objectives.

This role requires strong procurement expertise, particularly in electronics manufacturing services companies, including semiconductors, printed circuit boards, and assemblies. The successful candidate will have experience reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings/prints, as well as working with ISO9001/ISO14001 Environmental and Quality Management Systems.

In this position, you will be an integral part of our new product development process, leading procurement efforts through design, prototyping, commercialization/industrialization, and production maturity. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to develop technical requirement specifications for procured materials and services that best support our value and cost targets.

You will also identify, research, evaluate, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers to choose the best materials, products, or services to support our business objectives. Additionally, you will develop and manage purchasing strategies, manage procurement actions in accordance with project schedules and budgets, contribute to supplier performance and qualification reviews and audits, and proactively identify and resolve risks in procurement strategy.

This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional work experience in a manufacturing environment with integrated power and power conversion products is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred, along with certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other problem-solving techniques. Experience with Supply Chain Management and electronic manufacturing services is highly desirable.
