Millwright Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to contribute to the maintenance and operation of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Technical Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand equipment specifications and requirements.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks and equipment performance.
  • Fabrication and Welding: Fabricate and weld components as needed to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Work with logic controllers and low voltage systems to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Knowledge: Essential mechanical knowledge and skills to perform equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Electrical Experience: Experience in electrical work, including industrial electrician skills, to support equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and proficiency in using CMMS for maintenance tasks.
  • Fabrication and Welding Skills: Strong fabrication and welding skills to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with logic controllers and low voltage systems to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
