About the Role:
Corteva Agriscience is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at our Lethbridge, AB site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct scheduled equipment inspections and perform mechanical repairs, service, and troubleshooting following prescribed guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor, coordinator, and specialist to prioritize work queues, work orders, and projects.
- Assist in organizing and planning work, including conducting seasonal prep work.
- Support production team members with their daily work tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as required by the needs of the business.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Alberta Millwright Journeyman certificate or Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Journeyman certificate.
- Valid Class "5" driver's license required and able to obtain a driver's abstract.
- Industrial millwright maintenance work experience.
- Knowledge and experience troubleshooting mechanical issues related to motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
- Ability to perform lubrication tasks and preventative maintenance tasks on factory assets.
- Weld, repair, and fabricate equipment as needed.
- General knowledge and some experience troubleshooting electrical issues related to motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
- A general understanding of PLC automation (Allen Bradly) and ladder logic is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating day and evening shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
