Cooperative/Intern, Assurance Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cooperative/Intern, Assurance Professional to join our Assurance team at BDO Canada. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in accounting and assurance.
Responsibilities- Technical Knowledge Application: Utilize your technical knowledge to carry out work projects and assignments efficiently.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Engagement Support: Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements, and build positive working relationships with clients.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
- Core Values: Demonstrate BDO's core values of Integrity, Respect & Collaboration through all aspects of your work.
- Client Understanding: Understand your client's industry, challenges, and opportunities, and deliver high-quality work that meets their expectations.
