About Doaba Kang Flooring Ltd.

We are a leading provider of high-quality floor installations, seeking an experienced Floor Covering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing hardwood and resilient floor coverings in commercial and residential settings.


Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

This compensation package reflects the value we place on our employees' skills and experience.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of floor installation techniques and materials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting, measuring, and marking surfaces to ensure accurate fitments;
  • Measuring, cutting, and fastening underlay and underpadding to provide a smooth foundation for flooring;
  • Installing resilient floor coverings, including laminate, vinyl, and carpet tiles;
  • Preparing and installing hardwood floors using specialized tools and equipment;
  • Inspecting and repairing damaged floor coverings to maintain their appearance and integrity;
  • Removing existing floor coverings and contaminants to prepare surfaces for new installations.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in floor installation, preferably with a focus on hardwood and resilient coverings;
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant tools, equipment, and safety protocols;
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues;
  • A strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, including occasional overtime as needed.
