About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Baker to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking high-quality pastries and breads that meet our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Pan Management and Baking: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal levels for efficient production. Bake mixed dough and batters to produce fresh, quality products.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas. Operate machinery as required to support production processes.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste. This includes requisitioning or ordering supplies and materials as needed.
Requirements
- Culinary Skills: Possess excellent culinary skills and knowledge of pastry preparation methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Physical Abilities: Stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic environment with repetitive tasks.
- Team Player: Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure seamless operations within the kitchen team.
