Job Title: Cement Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at Skyscraper Construction and Cement Finishing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Cement Finisher will be responsible for applying a smooth, even finish to concrete surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
  • Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
