Job Title: Cement Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at Skyscraper Construction and Cement Finishing Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Cement Finisher will be responsible for applying a high-quality finish to concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply a high-quality finish to concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment:

The Cement Finisher will work in a commercial and industrial setting, outdoors, and in a dusty environment.
