Warehouse Specialist

Shift Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:30am
Compensation: $23.95/hr

Fastfrate Group is a leading transportation and logistics company with over 50 years of experience. We offer a range of services including over-the-road, intermodal LTL and TL, drayage and transload, warehousing, distribution, logistics services, and final mile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move products and materials to and from trailers and containers onto the dock.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, dollies, or hand trucks.
- Inspect equipment prior to commencing shift and as required during shift.
- Verify the accuracy of products being received and shipped.
- May be required to break down skids of product and build smaller orders for delivery to customers.
- Ensure products are moved in a safe manner and report any incidents to their supervisor or leadhand.
- Complete various documents as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements:
- Two years of forklift experience.
- One year of transportation or warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs).
- Forklift certification.
- Dangerous goods certification.
- Clean criminal record check.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy, dependability, and ability to safely operate the dock.
- Flexibility with workload and duties.
- Positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven positive work ethic.
