Overview of the Role:

This Facilities Management Leader position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our health sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of facilities, including maintaining records, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating with vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Establish and implement operational plans, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage Budget and Resources: Manage the annual operating and capital budget for assigned site(s), allocating resources effectively to meet operational needs.
  • Lead Team Members: Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Engineering or related field supplemented with seven (7) to ten (10) years' recent, related progressive supervisory and management experience in a large, complex unionized environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership practices, including initiative, judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
