Retail Store Manager

Le Marché du Village Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Free parking available on site.

- Permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week.
