Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at ETAC Service & Supply Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility, design operation, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks. They will also supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers, as well as prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility, design operation, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
Requirements:
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office
  • MS Windows
  • Electronic mail
  • Willing to travel
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. They will also be required to have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to distinguish between colors and sound discrimination.
