We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Milton Halal Meat. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff

Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.

Manage Store Operations

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stock ordering, and visual merchandising.

Customer Service

Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and staff performance.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is ordered and received in a timely manner and that stockroom is organized and tidy.

Store Maintenance

Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy loads.
