Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinic Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the work unit by performing a variety of clerical and patient care tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks.
  • Patient Care: Assist with patient care tasks, such as preparing patient charts, taking vital signs, and providing general patient support.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a Medical Office Assistant certificate, Medical Administrative Assistant program, or Office Administrative Assistant Program including medical terminology.
  • Experience: No previous experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Proficient typing skills, competent in the use of computers and Microsoft applications, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
