Job Description for Executive Chef at Bourbon St Grill

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bourbon St Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
