Food Service Manager

Eldho's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory is managed effectively.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
