Environmental Land Analyst


Integrated Geomatics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Land Analyst to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will support client development activities by pairing survey and environmental services, including planning, permitting, environmental assessments, monitoring, GIS mapping, and design.

In this role, you will plan and execute development activities with customers throughout Alberta in the Oil and Gas Industry. Your expertise will be essential in completing regulatory applications, analyzing GIS software, survey plans, and environmental reports, and technical report writing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regulatory applications using provincial web-based application systems

• Analyze GIS software, survey plans, and environmental reports related to project activities

• Prepare technical reports

• Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and field technicians in a team environment

• Review regulations relevant to projects, including Alberta Public Lands, Alberta Wetland Policy, and Alberta Water Act

• Conduct regulatory planning and constraints analysis


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree or diploma in surface land program, environmental sciences, biology, or related field

• Previous experience planning new energy development activities and preparing environmental and regulatory applications

• Demonstrated proficiency with technology and regulatory requirements

• Excellent research and analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail

• Professional designation and/or eligibility is an asset
