Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor is a key role at A&W, responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. This involves coordinating the team to deliver outstanding service, exceeding expectations on every visit.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead your team in providing friendly and caring service, creating loyalty to our restaurant. You will also ensure the team contributes to achieving A&W operating standards and financial results on their shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate team efforts to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in service and quality
  • Ensure the team meets A&W operating standards and financial targets
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential
  • Communicate effectively with the team, management, and guests
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on service excellence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
