About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end rail process, including ordering railcars, billing loaded cars, tracking in-transit shipments, and troubleshooting billing and freight issues. You will also coordinate volumes scheduled for shipment to external reload locations, inventory at the reloads, and outbound on-time shipments to customers.
- Order and manage railcar inventory to meet customer demand
- Track and analyze railcar utilization to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in rail logistics operations
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of rail logistics experience
- Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
