Overview of the Role

The Government of Canada - Central is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of our manufacturing enterprise.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, driving growth and development.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic alignment.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, driving progress and innovation.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting the interests of the organization.
  • Talent Acquisition: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating necessary authority and creating optimum working conditions, driving success and achievement.
