Job Title: Financial Planning and Accounting Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Accounting Professional to join our team at ASHISH PATEL PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and financial records for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify clients' financial goals and objectives
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
- Supervise staff
- Train staff
- Analyze clients' financial records
- Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
- Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
- Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
- Analyze financial documents and reports
- Examine accounting records
- Provide financial, business and tax advice
- Negotiate mortgage loans and make application for mortgage to lenders or lending institutions on behalf of client
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
- Variance analysis
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Supervision:

- Supervise 3-4 people

Credentials:

- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation
- Canadian Institute of Financial Planning Course
