At AFGHAN KABOB & DONAIR, we are seeking a highly motivated Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our food preparation and service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including setting tables, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders accurately, and ensure that all customer needs are met.
  • Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare and Serve Food: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, load buspans and trays, and replenish condiments and supplies.
  • Stock and Receive Supplies: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A valid Food Safety Certification (an asset).
