We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Les Jardins de la Noblesse. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
- Task Completion: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Trade Support: Contact tradespersons for major repairs and perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
- Work Setting: Private residence, retirement home, or similar settings.
- Free Parking: Convenient parking available on site.
- Learning and Training: Paid learning and training opportunities to enhance your skills.
