Job Title: Handyman/Woman

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Les Jardins de la Noblesse. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties.

Responsibilities:
  • General Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Trash and Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Housekeeping: Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform minor repairs on appliances and other equipment.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Private residence and retirement home.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, organized, and reliable.
