We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Liaison to join our team at Concordia University. This role will provide opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the lives of prospective students and contribute to the growth and success of our community.
Compensation: The annual salary for this position is estimated to be around $97,000.
About the RoleThe Recruitment Liaison will play a key role in representing Concordia University at various recruitment functions and events. This includes participating in off-campus recruitment activities locally, nationally, and internationally, as well as assisting with on-campus and virtual initiatives such as Advisor/Counsellor Information Days and Open House sessions.
- Develop and implement established University recruitment strategies to raise the University's profile and attract top talent.
- Provide information and advice to prospective students and their influencers in the Welcome Centre, offering assistance in interpreting policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the student recruitment team to identify new opportunities and markets, and suggest improvements to the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with the Enrolment Services Marketing and Student Communications Team to provide suggestions on the content of recruitment publications and communications.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree and two to four years of work experience in student recruitment, public relations, marketing, or a related field. You will also have good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written English and French, as well as excellent interpersonal, relation-building, and communication skills.
Familiarity with educational systems and knowledge of undergraduate admissions requirements and academic regulations policies and procedures are considered an asset. Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Intermediate PowerPoint is also required, as is familiarity with the Student Information System (SIS).
