Faculty Position in Engineering Fundamentals with Teaching Focus

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our team as a three-year Extended Term Appointment (ETA) in the area of Engineering Fundamentals. As an ETA, you will be assigned core undergraduate engineering and engineering mathematics courses, providing exceptional teaching experiences for our students. Your primary duties will include course delivery, student supervision, and contribution to departmental administration. You will have opportunities to take on leadership roles in curriculum development and coordination across multiple sections.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in core undergraduate engineering and engineering mathematics courses.
- Supervise students' project work and provide guidance on their academic progress.
- Contribute to departmental administration, including implementation of CEAB Graduate Attributes.
Qualifications and Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace engineering and a Ph.D. degree in an Engineering discipline related to these fields. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is also required. Relevant engineering experience and/or industrial experience will be a definite asset.
