Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team at IJW Recruitment Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring timely delivery of materials and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate weights and measurements.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Meet with customers to discuss delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and industrial areas. The work environment will be dusty, and the candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
