Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 8344795 CANADA INC. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver logbook
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Maintenance and repair reports
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Hours: 50 to 60 hours per week
Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with various locations. You will be required to work overtime and perform repetitive tasks.
