Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Provide assistance to team members with various architectural tasks">
  • Prepare programming spaces for studies and projects">
  • Evaluate and ensure building codes are up-to-date, adhering to legal requirements">
  • Develop working drawings using Revit">
  • Assist in preparing drawing submissions, building permits, and other construction administration tasks">
  • Participate in deficiency reviews, site details, and site visits as required">
  • Review shop drawings and submittals">
  • Other tasks contributing to AIBC internship goals">

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

">
  • ">
  • Eligibility to register with the AIBC program">
  • M. Arch in Architecture or an institution recognized by the AIBC/CACB">
  • Previous experience working in an office setting for at least two to three years">
  • Strong Adobe skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)">
  • Proficiency in Revit">
  • Physical model making">
  • Computer rendering and digital visualization skills">
  • Knowledge of the BC Building Code">
  • Good work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork">
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills">
  • Well-organized with good interpersonal skills">
  • Licensed to work in Canada">
  • Valid driver's license">
  • A desire to build their career">

Salary Range

">

$65,000 - $75,000 per annum
