">Key Responsibilities
">- ">
- Provide assistance to team members with various architectural tasks">
- Prepare programming spaces for studies and projects">
- Evaluate and ensure building codes are up-to-date, adhering to legal requirements">
- Develop working drawings using Revit">
- Assist in preparing drawing submissions, building permits, and other construction administration tasks">
- Participate in deficiency reviews, site details, and site visits as required">
- Review shop drawings and submittals">
- Other tasks contributing to AIBC internship goals">
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will have:
">- ">
- Eligibility to register with the AIBC program">
- M. Arch in Architecture or an institution recognized by the AIBC/CACB">
- Previous experience working in an office setting for at least two to three years">
- Strong Adobe skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)">
- Proficiency in Revit">
- Physical model making">
- Computer rendering and digital visualization skills">
- Knowledge of the BC Building Code">
- Good work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork">
- Excellent oral and written communication skills">
- Well-organized with good interpersonal skills">
- Licensed to work in Canada">
- Valid driver's license">
- A desire to build their career">
Salary Range
">$65,000 - $75,000 per annum
