About the Job

This pharmacy technician role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. In this position, you will work closely with a dynamic team to ensure seamless workflow operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Automation Reports: Generate accurate reports via Kroll pharmacy management software to support workflow optimization.
  • Packaging Medications: Package medications into unit dose pouches using automation machines, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, place orders for pharmacy supplies, and maintain stock levels according to pre-specified requirements.
  • Shipping and Prescription Filling: Prepare packages for shipment, investigate order discrepancies, and fill prescriptions accurately.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in pharmacy settings, particularly in long-term care facilities, is highly desirable. Additionally, proficiency in Kroll software and post-secondary education are preferred.
