Site Superintendent

As a Site Superintendent with Michael Page International Canada Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities for Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure that subcontractors and tradespeople meet project objectives, while maintaining a safe and secure working environment for all site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to adhere to ICI project specifications and schedules.
- Site Supervision: Monitor project progress, address issues or delays promptly, and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track.
- Safety and Quality: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, and conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets company standards and project requirements.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication among team members, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of project expenses, material usage, and labour to support budgeting and reporting.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ICI Superintendent, with a proven track record managing ICI projects and experience in new build hotel projects.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, excellent leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with construction management software and tools.
- Certifications: Gold Seal certification or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
