About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Agronomy Professional to join our team as a Summer Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in precision agronomy and develop their skills in field scouting, data collection, and research trial analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough field visits to assess plant stand, herbicide efficacy, insect management, and disease control.
  • Perform plant stand counts, VR crop assessments, and research trial analysis.
  • Participate in Max Ag crop tours and industry agronomy events.
  • Collaborate with experienced Agronomists to convey key information to customers.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education, preferably in agriculture or a related field.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingsness to work outdoors and adapt to changing weather conditions.
